Founded in 1911 in Mumbai , LALTD grew from a family metalworks into a plant-first aluminium company . Our consumers brands built name and trust ; Our present is industrial —EC-Grade wire rods from our In-House CCR line and alloy rods & bars supplied as a stockist /distributor . One centuary of learning , focused
today on reliable metal and predictable dispatch.

Started trading and dealing in aluminium, brass, copper, nickel and silver household items.
1913
Entered manufacturing Stainless Steel & Aluminium household Utensils.
1934
Trading in Non-Ferrous Metal & Extrusions. First exports- Continue to this day
1937
Backward integration – Aluminium Sheet rolling at Sion Metal Rolling works, Mumbai.
1948
Incorporated – gradually to become Leader in Kitchenware Industry
1963
Started Collapsible tubes, Monobloc Bottles & Containers
1964
Expanded to Ahmedabad – Aluminium conductors for Transmission & Distribution of power.
1972
Set up stainless steel rolling mill. Launched Hardware items in Aluminium & surgical ware in stainless steel
1975
Extrusion Plant Solid pipes in Brass & Copper
1977
Backward integration for conductors. Set up Properzi plant for Aluminium wire rods. Started regular cookware
1978
Launched Value Added products under Brand name ‘Elite’ – PressureCookers.
1985
Launched Value Added products under Brand name ‘Elite’ – PressureCookers.
1987
Hard Anodsed cookware ‘Silkon’.
1990
Rolling Mill to manufacture from 0.2 mm Aluminium Coil.
1992
Premium Non-Stik ware ‘Black Beauty’.
1998
S. S. Sandwich bottom R&D; and Manufacturing line.
2002
Diversification into Real Estate.

Induction Thermoware R&D; and Manufacturing Line.
